Cleverman: We’re never as clever as we think

The beauty of Cleverman is in it’s simplicity.

Rich v poor

White v black

Indigenous v migrants

Fight v flight

Brother v brother

And that’s where the creators of this show got it spot on because at the centre of the show is something we all relate to; family (Peggy Mitchell voice). Whether you had any or not, it shapes all of us. And that basis is what shines through every one of these characters.

Made in Chelsea: Rosie explains it all

Those of you who know me well will know that I have never been Rosie’s biggest fan. It’s not that I don’t like her, I’ve just always found her a bit, well, blaeur. Strictly Come Dancing: “This is gonna be a corker!”

The glitter, the spray tans, the six-packs,  Claudia’s fringe and Tess’ awful jokes are back. And boy, is Planet Strictly planning to brighten up your weekend for the 14th series. And – get your tissues ready – it is Head Judge Len Goodman’s final series. The only upside of that is that we may get Arlene Phillips back on the panel.

*CONTAINS MINIMAL SPOILERS*

A painful, protracted death would be sad in the way that all death is sad, but few would argue that the world would be a nicer place without him in it.
