Strictly Come Dancing: Week Three – Fresh scandals and frenemies

Week 3 means one thing; Movie Week! This year may have been one of the best movie weeks that I can remember. There was some real surprises and everybody really stepped up!

With Susannah being the first to leave the competition last weekend, it’s really on for the couples to keep improving and avoid that dreaded dance-off. The standard is really high this year so one off night could be the end for you. I must say, hats off to the costume, hair and make-up departments because every celeb and pro looked incredible!

Strictly Come Dancing: Week One on the floor with some surprising scores

🎵 It’s the most wonderful time of the year. 🎵

No, not Christmas time. It’s Strictly time, of course! It just so happens to also be the countdown to Christmas but Strictly first and everything else later!

Strictly: The Final Three and Farewell Len

How is this series over already? I know everyone’s been saying it but it really has been the best series so far! Before I discuss the winner, let’s take a look at all of the dances from the night.

I always comfort myself with the knowledge it could be worse.

Strictly: Hung, drawn and quartered

How are we at the quarter finals already? We’ve sorted out the wheat from the chaff and are down to the final 5. We’ve seen countless routines but now we’re seeing the performance shine through and the judges are picking up on the smallest of mistakes!

We were treated to 3 group dances this week too: Anton’s homage to the musicals, a West Side Story tribute and a Chicago-inspired number. I have to say that I am slightly biased because West Side Story is my favourite musical so of course that one was my favourite! Karen and Janette were just perfect as Anita and Maria; I just wish that the dance was longer!
