I’m in two minds about Tin Star. Ironic really, given the nature of the show, but I feel obliged to give you fair warning as my internal dialogue is likely to influence this review heavily.

Sky 1’s new comedy Rovers arrived last month to coincide with the hubbub surrounding Euro 2016. The premise is based in and around the clubhouse of local non-league side Redbridge Rovers.
Written by ‘career weirdos’ David Earl and Joe Wilkinson, the show is directed by The Royle Family’s Craig Cash, who also takes the lead as superfan Pete Mott (Mete Pott, swap the letters around. It’s good fun!).
